The Bear Paw Mountains home to the historic Young Ranch and home to Treasure State Quarter Horses. We are currently into the fifth generation living and working on this ranch, located 30 miles south of Chinook Montana.

treasurestate > PC Mr Sun Peppy, the broodmares, and foals going for water. Our foals are raised from birth in steep, rugged terrain. The mares foal out in the hills and the colts learn to cover the country just as soon as they can stand.
treasurestate > Freeze branding foals at the ranch with our own Bar Lazy U. Treasure State Quarter Horses is a traditional outfit with modern day breeding. We ride our bloodlines, break our own colts, and do all aspects of our ranch work on horseback. The mares foal out in the hills and the colts learn to cover the country just as soon as they can stand.

treasurestate > Working cattle at the ranch. Barbara (Young) Crowley and her husband Ted Crowley are the fourth generation to live and work on the Young Ranch. Now, Clear Creek Livestock, Barbara and Ted are carrying on a long tradition of hard work and dedication to land and livestock that was instilled in them through Bill and Una Young. Four families now live and work the ranch. It is now home to Treasurestate Quarter Horses (Todd and Una Crowley Ford & Ted and Barb Crowley) Clear Creek Registered Angus (Teddy and Sarah Crowley), and Clear Creek Hunting Adventures (Clint and Jaycee Crowley) The ranch sustains roughly 750 angus cows and nearly 70 horses.
treasurestate > The historic Young Ranch in the early 1900's. Cattle and horses have always been a vital part of the Young Ranch.
treasurestate > Una Ford's grandpa Bill Young at home at the ranch. Bill was widely known as a great cattleman and horseman. He always rode a good tough horse and was well known as one of the hardest working men around. He was born and raised on the ranch and and except for serving his country in the Korean war, never left the ranch until his dying day. He and his wife Una were the third generation to live and work on the ranch.
